E! has announce its forthcoming lineup for 2012 and all hail the Queen, Mary J as she has landed herself on the highly anticipated show, Opening Act.

The new-talent themed show, is headlined by executive producer Nigel Lythgoe of American Idol fame, as well as super-writer/producer Antonina Armato who has been responsible for over 20 #1 hits from artists such as the Jonas Bros.  The three industry veterans will be seeking the next internet sensation, which will be turned into a potential commercial star, by giving them the chance to open for certified A-List stars.

So far established hit makers such as  Nicki Minaj, Rod Stewart, LMFAO, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Jason Mraz and Gym Class Heroes have signed on to let the talented crop found by Mary and crew open up for them. Repeat after me:  BIG THINGS POPPIN.

Hosted by Olivia Lee, the chosen few will be notified and brought to Hollywood for a road to stardom themed bootcamp conducted by other industry big-wigs.

Sounds like a #winning formula to me. This is the recipe being shared right before everyone’s eyes. If you say you want the success, you must study how to get it.  Enjoy.

Opening Act Premieres on E! July 9th 2012.
