Martin Lawrence Teams Up With Kelsey Grammer In New Series, Partners

After over a decade away from a reoccuring television role, Martin Lawrence returns to the silver screen in a comedy series alongside Kelsey Grammer.  The show, entitled Partners, will air on FX, on Mondays beginning August 4th.

Lawrence and Grammer will play Chicago based lawyers, Marcus Jackson and Allen Braddock.  They can be no more different, but when hard times hit, they have to rely on each other to become partners in their own law firm.  Other series regulars include Telma Hopkins, Rory O’Malley, McKaley Miller, Edi Patterson and Danièle Watts. Bob Boyett and Robert Horn serve as Executive Producers and Showrunners. Executive Producers also include Martin Lawrence, Kelsey Grammer, Brian Sher, Stella Bulochnikov, Michael Green and Sam Maydew.

The series is produced by Lionsgate Television in association with Grammnet NH Productions and You Go Boy Productions. It is distributed by Debmar-Mercury.

FX will air two back-to-back episodes of the show from 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT for five consecutive weeks.
