Alicia Keys Drops New Song On Her 36th Birthday

Alicia Keys Releases “That’s What’s Up” Single To Celebrate Her Birthday

Today, January 25th, is Alicia Keys’ 36th birthday, so be sure to wish her a good one. Following the release of her sixth studio album Here last November, the R&B singer has dropped a brand new song – “That’s What’s Up.” The gospel-inspired track uses a sample of Kings of Tomorrow’s “So Alive,” which Kanye West also sampled on “Low Lights” from The Life of Pablo.

I wanna thank you Lord for all the love / Time after time, you lifted me up / Lord knows, you’ll never let me down / Now that’s what’s up.”

In addition, Keys released what could be a music video for the track on her social media. This video features the singer strolling around what looks like a hotel suite, mouthing the lyrics of the song, before she takes a bubble bath.
