A Living Single Reboot May Be Coming To Your Screen Very Soon
Nineteen years later, the legacy of hit 90s sitcom, Living Single, continues–literally. The Queen said so herself. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Queen Latifah confirmed that a Living Single reboot was officially in the works. Will Khadijah, Synclair, Maxine, Kyle, Overton, and Regine will be coming back to our TV screens soon? Well, we’re surely hoping so.
We’ve already been told about Good Times and The Jeffersons getting picked back up. So, we knew that Living Single had to be among the ones next on the roster. Between the 1970s through 1990s, some of the greatest shows and characters became household names–and Living Single happened to be one of them.
While on Watch What Happens Live, a fan called in, asking Queen if there would be a possible revival of the show. Let’s just say, the fan got the answer she was looking for.
“Funny you should ask. We’re actually working on it.” Queen proclaimed. She then went on to say that the show isn’t exactly there yet, but she’s hoping they can make it happen. The goal is to have all of the original cast a part of the project.
At this time, it is not said if the show will air on Netflix or a TV network. However, wherever it airs, we will be tuning in, for sure!
Will you be watching the Living Single reboot?
