Wyclef returns to music after seven years with his latest masterpiece, the J’Ouvert EP.  Wyclef has been creating a buzz for the project since the middle of last year.  Originally slated for a January 27th release, the project was delayed a week, but the wait is officially over for the Wyclef J’Ouvert EP.

Wyclef J'ouvert EPWyclef credits Young Thug reintroducing him to the younger audience as part of the reason for his come back.  Wyclef also made news last year for calling Thug this generations Tupac Shakur.  The statement didn’t go over too well with Hip-Hop fans, but Young Thug’s new single and video is titled “Wyclef Jean” and Young Thug is featured on Wyclef “I Swear”. which has generated a nice buzz for Wyclef as well.

Wyclef’s latest single and the EP’s opening cut is titled “The Ring”.  Previously Wyclef released the singles and visuals for “Hendrix” and for “If I Was President 2016”.
