Kendrick Lamar DNA Music Video Taps Don Cheadle with Kendrick Acting
It seems like everybody can’t stop talking about that new heat Kendrick Lamar recently dropped. Just four days after the release of DAMN., Kung Fu Kenny unveiled the visuals for the second track on the album, “DNA.” As always, with any Kendrick video, you’re getting some pretty entertaining visuals on this one. Check out the Kendrick Lamar DNA video below.
Lamar was able to get the help of actor Don Cheadle, who gave him the introduction for his performance at the Grammy’s last year. In this video, Cheadle has Kendrick in what looks like an old warehouse, hooked up to what looks like a polygraph machine. But it seems like Kendrick has something up his sleeve. As he is able to somehow get Cheadle’s character to snap out of his bad-cop routine as well as jam along to the song playing in the background. Before long, the two are going at it together, matching each other’s ferocious energy.
In addition, DAMN. is already on course to be the No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart by next week.
