Serena Williams Pregnancy Revealed via Snapchat Post
The world’s greatest athlete, Serena Williams is adding another title to her incredibly impressive resume. The tennis champion posted an image in a yellow bikini on her snapchat with the caption ’20 weeks’, a simple caption but a clear indication that she is expecting. Back in December, Serena Williams announced that she was engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Williams, 35 and Ohanian, 33 began dating back in October 2015 after they met at a lunch, but the relationship wasn’t public until the engagement announcement.
Serena announced the engagement with a poem on Reddit, stylizing it to include the companies unique style of categorizing posts:
“I came home / A little late / Someone had a bag packed for me /And a carriage awaited /Destination: Rome /To escort me to my very own “charming” / Back to where our stars first collided / And now it was full circle / At the same table we first met by chance / This time he made it not by chance /But by choice / Down on one knee / He said 4 words And r/isaidyes”
Now comes the Serena Williams pregnancy announcement. On Monday, Serena shared a post of Ohanian holding her up in his arms while they were on the beach, seemingly enjoying an island vacation.
