The 23-City August Alsina DRUGS Tour Is Happening This Summer
Fellas, keep your ladies close because August Alsina is coming to town and he’s not playing any games. The “Lonely” singer is embarking on the DRUGS tour this summer, hitting twenty-three cities across the US and Canada. Taking his NOLA-bred talents to major concert markets, such as Houston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, New York, and even Toronto [Canada], we can assure that Alsina is setting out to put on an unforgettable show, creating a personable experience that will result in money well spent. The August Alsina DRUGS tour is upon us.
Back in January, the 24-year-old dropped three tracks from his forthcoming album, Drugs, with the first being a title track, and the other two being “Wait” and “Lonely”, which is a modern R&B sample of Bobby Womack’s 1982 single, “If You Think You’re Lonely Now”. Shortly after the tracks debuted, Alsina shared his excitement about the new music, revealing hints that his third album was definitely coming sooner than we’d all originally thought.
However, it looks like Alsina had some other tricks up his sleeve as well. Though we haven’t gotten a release date for the album, on Monday, the singer put out the official unannounced tour dates onto his verified Facebook page. Of course, it didn’t take long for #AlsinaNation to catch wind of the news, causing them to go completely haywire, filling the timelines with much elation.
Honestly, we can’t blame them, though. We are just as excited to see what Alsina has on the radar for this tour. Whatever it is, we know that he’s certainly going to show up and show out…as always.
The presale for the August Alsina DRUGS tour is happening now. All tickets will go on sale to the general public this coming Friday. Head on over to www.ticketmaster.com or www.livenation.com to purchase yours!
