Drake Attends Prom, Gives Cousin “Best Day Ever”
The last thing you want to imagine when you think about going to your high school prom is the thought of having to be chaperoned to one, especially by an older family member. On the other hand, if your older cousin happens to be the famous, Grammy Award winning Hip-hop artist Drake, being chaperoned to the prom might suddenly start to sound good to some. Drake flew out to Memphis to send his cousin Jalaah Moore off in style, he hired a white Rolls Royce and accompanied her and her date to their prom at Memphis High School.
Jalaah wore a beautiful custom rose gold sequined gown with a spilt on the side and her date followed up nicely with a rose gold sequined jacket and bow tie. Drake showed up with an all-black attire down to the shoes. Throughout the night Drake posted pictures on Instagram of him with not only his cousin, but also with other prom goers throughout the night.
Although he didn’t perform while he was there as most people would have wanted, he did throw his cousin an amazing after party at the Hard Rock for 400 people. Isn’t that one of the best days ever? Well if you don’t think so at least Jalaah does, she posted a photo of herself, her date and Drake on her Instagram profile with the words Best Day Ever.
It is evident that Drake cares a lot about his little cousin. Just earlier in the year he posted a photo of Jalaah wearing a fabulous all white gown, and under it he wrote, “I love my cousin more than anything in the world… homecoming queen everything fleeky AF.
