Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce Returns For Season Six With Eight Hour-Long Episodes
Big Freedia bounces back, and, this time, it’s harder than ever. Many people best know Big Freedia for her larger-than-life personality on her reality show, Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce, and marking her throne as the Queen of the New Orleans-bred genre of Hip-Hop music, known as bounce music. She began her thirty-minute reality TV series, Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce, on Fuse in October of 2013, and it is still going strong. The show chronicles Freedia’s lifestyle, both on and off the mic, giving viewers an inside look at the life of the ‘Bounce Diva’.
On Tuesday, September 12th, 2017, Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce will be returning for its sixth season! This time, viewers will be given eight hour-long episodes. Last season, we were left with a cliffhanger, as we all wondered what Freedia’s next move could be after they watched her juggle with highs and lows in her professional and personal life.
However, Freedia is back to let you know that she’s here, and she’s better than ever! Along with the new season of her thriving reality show, Freedia has also released a new single, “Dive”–which features cash money legend and producer Mannie Fresh. The single is now available on all digital platforms.
There is also said to be a bounce back mixtape dropping from the duo next week. Freedia and Mannie Fresh have teamed up in the past to deliver great bounce music, and the journey continues.
We can watch Freedia’s professional and life journey and keep up with her all her progress in season six. In a Fuse interview, the 39-year-old says, “I’m expanding in so many different areas that you will see. I’ve had five seasons already, so this is a blessing to still be on TV and have so many people demand to keep it on TV and to want to see what’s going on in my life,” she expresses. “I’m super excited about this season. There’s a lot of good changes. It’s gonna be juicy.”
