The Great Xscape Tour Kicks Off This November
The ladies of Xscape are finally taking the show on the road! Kandi Burruss, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle-Harris, LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott are officially back. Earlier this year they performed at the BET Awards, then they followed that up with at performance at this year’s Essence Festival. Now they have plans for a reality series and they have announced The Great Xscape Tour, their first headline tour… EVER!
Joining the ladies of Xscape on The Great Xscape Tour are Monica and Tamar Braxton, who will be releasing her fifth solo album and what she’s calling her final album, Bluebird of Happiness, later this month.
No word on new music from Xscape yet, so it would seem likely that the ladies will be performing mostly classics on the road, including hit songs, like, “Just Kickin’ It”, “Understanding”, and “My Little Secret”. Fans should be wary of getting their hopes up though, during their interviews at Essence Festival the ladies responses suggested that they wouldn’t be releasing any new material as to not mess with the brand.
