Eminem Steals Show with Cypher & Everything Else You Need To Know About The 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards
This year’s 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards took place in the great Miami, Florida, hosted by, none other than, Mr. DJ Khaled. The prerecorded ceremony aired this past Tuesday night, October 10th, and the fans were certainly in for a treat.
The night was big for rising female rapper Cardi B, who received major recognition throughout the evening. Cardi B was nominated for nine awards and took home five, including ‘Single of The Year’ and ‘Best New Hip-Hop Artist’. Kendrick Lamar and the host, DJ Khaled, were also multiple award winners on the night.
However, the highlight came when Eminem stole the show, hitting the scene with a jaw-dropping Cypher performance. That has actually been the talk of the internet all day, solely due to his no-holds-barred approach, calling out Donald Trump. Take a look at his freestyle performance below.
All in all, as you can see, the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards was one for the books. It only makes us anticipate, even more, what the network has in store for us next year…
