Official Visual to “Insecure” by Jazmine Sullivan and Bryson Tiller Is Out Now
As if we weren’t already in for a treat when talented singer-songwriters Jazmine Sullivan and Bryson Tiller teamed up for the leading single from the hit Insecure series’ season two soundtrack–also titled “Insecure”, the song, now has a video out as well.
With “Insecure” being the title track for the HBO series, the cast happens to appear in the video, as well. If you have watched an episode, then you will also realize it takes place inside of the lead protagonist’s (Issa Rae) apartment, who also stars in the video. In various scenes, you can witness a house party taking place, one similar to the fun, harmless house party’s that took place back in the day.
Throughout the video, you can, too, witness Sullivan and Tiller as they endure the insecurities of their own relationships. Sullivan, who deals with an insecure boyfriend refusing to give her space, and Tiller, who is an insecure boyfriend who won’t let his girlfriend enjoy her time out in peace.
Both are situations which, as human beings, we can relate to. Either through personal experience or knowing someone who has dealt with it themselves, and even if you can’t relate to the situation, it’s still a great video which provides a message that a lot of people in a relationship need.
