Growing Up Hip-Hop Atlanta Season 2 Set To Premiere On We TV In January

We TV is helping us bring in the new year just right, with the second season of it’s highly anticipated reality television show Growing Up Hip-Hop Atlanta. The Growing Up Hip-Hop Atlanta Season 2 premiere comes to We TV on January 11, 2018 at 9:00 PM ET.

The series follows the life of the children of famous celebrities, who are trying to break free from their parents shadow and create a life separate from them… And then of course there’s Bow Wow and his whole relationship with Jermaine Dupri. While GUHH is filmed in two locations, that being New York and Atlanta, the Atlanta cast differs from the New York cast as you will see story lines from Bow Wow, Ayana Fite, Reginae Carter, Zonnique Pullins, Shaniah Mauldin and Brandon Barnes.

In GUHH Season One’s last episode we were left witnessing a face off between Bow and his estranged father, a secret meeting with Deb which sent Brandon over the edge, drama at Zonnique’s listening party and Bow Wow stuck in the midst of danger when an anonymous text threat leads to a studio rumble. This left us all wondering what was next for the GUHH Atlanta crew.

This season we pick up after Bow Wow’s scuffle, to see him return to the “A-Town” with a goal to complete his comeback without the legendary Jermaine Dupri by his side. We can expect trouble to brew between the two including with Da Brat as well. Trouble between Reginae Carter and Brandon Barnes continues to brew also, except this season things become more serious when dangerous threats take place. Brandon Barnes also begins to touch base with hot water when his mother, Debra Antney, famed Hip-Hop manager finds out that her son is making moves without her and he possibly faces a permanent family disinheritance.

We also witness Zonnique attempting to spread her wings further as a star and join the Xscape tour while trying to balance her friendship with Reginae. Shaniah, who wants to venture off into the fashion world approaches her father Jermaine Dupri in regards to her fashion aspirations but little does he know she is set to drop a bomb on him.

Lastly, we have Ayana who wants to go under the knife, but has to choose between her health and heart.
