Ray J & Wife, Princess Love Announce They Are Expecting
2017 has been a big year for pregnancies. While many of our favorite celebrities were busy either trying to create a bun or waiting for the bun to finish baking, one celebrity couple from Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood seemed to be having the hardest time getting their bun in the oven. The pair shared part of their journey to becoming expecting parents on VH1’s LHHH show.
The journey was anything, but easy at first, as the famous couple revealed for months they had been trying to make a baby but were not finding success. It came to a point where Ray J began to question his ability to have kids. He even tagged along with Safaree (Nicki Minaj’s Ex-boyfriend) and A1 (Lyrica Anderson’s Boyfriend)to visit a clinic together to get their sperm count read. Ray J ended up with the lowest sperm count.
Ashamed of himself after realizing he was the reason him and Princess weren’t having kids and possibly never would, he withheld this information from his wife, and created distance between them driving a wedge into their relationship. When Princess found out she took it upon herself to help him find ways to raise his sperm count which seemingly, eventually paid off.
On November 27, as Ray J guest co-hosted the real daytime show he made the announcement he and his beautiful wife Princess Love were expecting. Along with the Princess Love pregnancy announcement, Ray J also revealed that the due date is set for January 17th, which happens to be Ray J’s birthday. What a blessing! Princess also followed up on Ray J’s announcement by posting a picture on Instagram which displays her baby bump. In her caption underneath she says, “It is such a blessing from God to be able to carry our child. We kept this to ourselves until after our first trimester because it’s bad luck to announce too early. But we’re so proud to share this journey with you guys. Thank you for all the love and prayers.”
