FX has finally released the Atlanta season 2 teaser. After taking all of 2017 off because Donald Glover was working on multiple projects, the series is set to return this March to the excitement of many.
Back in 2016, Glover released his critically acclaimed album, Awaken, My Love! He followed that up by working on Star Wars, which was released in late 2017, and playing Simba in the live action movie, The Lion King, which hits theaters this year. He also has been helping create a Deadpool series for FXX. Needless to say, he’s been pretty busy so it made sense that Atlanta season 2 was put on pause. Thankfully, the wait is finally over.
The season 2 trailer is soundtracked by Yellow Days, “Gap in the Clouds”, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Season 2 is called “Robbin’ Season” a term used in Atlanta during Christmas time because of the high crime rate. The title is a metaphor used to display the changes the characters will go through.
