Fans have been waiting for the release of the follow-up to Migos’ highly successful, platinum album, Culture.  The album dominated last year with singles, “Bad and Boujee”, “Slippery” and “T-Shirt” among others.  So when Quavo announced that their would be a follow-up, the hype quickly grew.  Fans have been waiting nearly 6 months for the release of Culture II, but now we finally have a release date for the album.

Migos will release Culture II on January 26th via Quality Control Music/Motown Records/Capitol Records.  The release will be one year and one day to the date of the Culture release, which hit stores on January 27th 2017.

The lead single for Culture II is “Motor Sport”, which features Cardi B and Nicki Minaj.  The track has hovered near the top of the charts since its release.  The Pharrell produced “Stir Fry” is the second single from the project.  The track has been named the official song for the NBA’s All Star weekend. A huge accolade for the group and another mainstream notch on their belt.

Kanye West was rumored to be the album’s executive producer, though Migos has yet to confirm those rumors. The album’s features have yet to be revealed either, except of course Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, but the recent release of the Quality Control compilation and the Quavo/Travis $cott collaboration album might provide some insight to the artists and producers that have been around Migos in recent months. No matter who appears on it, Culture II is one of the most anticipated projects of 2018 and it looks to be the first major release of the year as well.
