Tamar Braxton Blasts Husband Vincent Herbert For An Alleged Love Child

Tamar Braxton Accuses Basketball Wives‘ Star Laura Govan of Sleeping With Her Estranged Husband, Vincent Herbert

Things aren’t looking so good on the Braxton-Herbert homefront, and, this time, ish has definitely gotten real. As we know, back in October, the news broke that Tamar Braxton had filed for a divorce from her husband, Vincent Herbert, after nine years of marriage. A few days later, Braxton’s mother, Evelyn, spoke with TMZ and indicated that Herbert had been physically abusive towards Braxton, leaving many to question whether or not that may have played a factor in their marriage falling apart. However, the plot has since thickened.

Following the season five finale of their hit WE TV show, Tamar & Vince, early Saturday morning, the “My Man” singer aired out all of their dirty laundries when she blasted her estranged husband on her Instagram page, revealing that Herbert allegedly has a love child on the way… with a brand new woman.

Braxton went on a full-blown rant, with a no-holds-barred, extensive post, addressing the matter at hand. Here’s what she had to say:

Vincent Herbert is having a baby, and his WHORE decided to let me know about it tonight!! That stupid, broke ass whore should check public records on Christmas before she goes through with it!! He called back (despite of his protection order), begging and lying like he’s hanging out with Joe and Rocsi (from BET). Oh yeah, that’s credible… no shade. However, before you judge me, know the FACTS!! He’s a real piece of work!! Smh, Happy New Year, folks!! Ladies and gentlemen, know that 2018 is a FRESH start, and if I can leave this liar, you can leave yours, too.

In the caption, Braxton states, “Say what you want about me, but I’m good and got damn tired of the bull. 2018 belongs to who DARES to take your life back!! I’m first in line!”

Although this post has since been deleted, of course, receipts and screenshots could easily be found on your favorite gossip blog. Before Braxton removed the post, it went completely haywire. Thousands of opinions were formed from fans, foes, and even friends.

That’s only the half of it, though. Shortly after Braxton made the post, she called out former Basketball Wives cast member Laura Govan, also alleging that Govan’s baby’s father, Gilbert Arenas, knew about Herbert’s infidelities because he was creeping around with Govan, as well. We’re assuming that Arenas must have had some sort of communication with Braxton about the situation, prior to her outburst.

While we don’t know if there’s any real truth to this, we do know that this is not the first time that Govan has been accused of sleeping with someone else’s husband. A few years back, there were rumors swirling that she had also slept with Shaq while he was married to Shaunie O’Neal.

But, Govan has since denied these claims. According to The Shade Room, Govan says that Herbert isn’t her type, and she has never had relations with him. She also accused her ex, Gilbert Arenas, of sparking the rumor.

“I have nothing but respect for Tamar and Vince, but none of this is true. Apparently, Tamar had been a little inebriated while she was talking reckless on Instagram. I would never, ever disrespect her in that way, but, understandably, she’s hurt.” Govan told TSR.

Since the drama unfolded, Arenas has partaken in his infamous IG commentary.

“My BM decides she wants to use me to clear her dirt up. You must have forgotten that I have all the court documents, and in those court documents are ALL your bank records, AND in those bank records ARE these little things called (wire transfers), and with wire transfers comes (senders), which either has they name or they bank account numbers from Jan, 2015 through Oct of 2016. I would have every person that sent you money … #hoe #hoe #hoe merry Christmas.” He wrote.

He then goes on, bringing Herbert into his antics. “@thevincentherbert I don’t know who’s pregnant, but if it’s my @BM, RUN N**** RUN. I know you can’t run that fast, big fella, so get you a hoverboard/scooter or something and #georgejetson the f*** outta here because she’s about to f*** yo whole life up. She’s about to have you out here like Soulja Boy in January and Tyrese in November.”

However, Govan thinks that Arenas comments are just another tactic to attack her character, and she believes that he’s still angered by the fact that she’s moved on. Contrary to popular belief, Govan has certainly moved on, but not with Herbert. In fact, the 38-year-old has dipped into some white chocolate, and she admits that she’s very much so in love.

Meanwhile, Herbert is still recovering from the nights he recently spent in a jail cell. Reverting back to Braxton’s Instagram post, Braxton implied that Herbert had been locked up on Christmas day. Obviously, her implications were true. TMZ reported that Herbert was actually arrested for ‘spousal assault’ but was released on a $20,000 bail.

Later in the day, after that first story broke from TMZ, they gave an update, saying that Braxton says Herbert’s arrest stemmed from ‘a few drinks and some jealousy’.

“Co-parenting while going through a divorce is not an easy task. While celebrating the Christmas holiday, as a family, after a few drinks and some jealousy, things got a bit out of hand–which is common for most families during the holidays. In the midst of everything our family is going through, things got heated and a bit exaggerated.” Braxton tells TMZ.

Of course, social media immediately filled the timelines with more abuse accusations, with even singer-actress Melissa Schuman chiming in. Schuman–who is a former member of the all-girl teen band, Dream, made claims on Twitter that Herbert ‘verbally and emotionally abused’ her while working on her group’s first album many years ago. She says that, as a result, this has caused her to have PTSD whenever she’s recording in a studio.

When speaking to TMZ, Braxton set out to clear up the abuse rumors, stating that the incident on Christmas was not physical, whatsoever. “There was no physical interaction between Vince and I on Christmas. While I do not appreciate his lack of respect for our family and him allegedly impregnating another woman, I cannot paint him as a vicious abuser. That, Vince is not.”

But, in spite of everything that has transpired, Braxton is still going into the new year with much peace, positivity, and the streets are saying a new man, as well. The Shade Room let us all in on Braxton rekindling things with an old flame. Reportedly, sources told them that his name is Mr. Rikk, and this happens to be the reason behind Herbert’s arrest.

The tea is definitely getting steamy.

However, we do know that a public breakup and/or divorce is never easy, especially when you a child is involved. We will continue to keep Tamar Braxton in our thoughts and prayers, as she navigates through this difficult time.
