The Weeknd Surprises With New EP, ‘My Dear Melancholy,’
Earlier today, The Weeknd took to social media to share the album cover for a new project, teasing fans with the simple caption “Tonight”. The cover art clearly said Melancholy, but now we know its a 6 track EP, fully titled, My Dear Melancholy,.
The new music is the first from the singer since he revealed his Starboy album in late 2016. The EP is reminiscent of early work from material, being described as very similar to his House of Balloons mixtape. This time around however some of the music is clearly inspired by The Weeknd’s ex, Selena Gomez.
