Cardi B has decided to cancel her appearance on the Bruno Mars 24k Magic Tour, which was set to begin it’s second leg this Fall.  Cardi B joined Bruno on the remix to “Finesse”, which turned out to be a mega hit, another one for Cardi after the success of “Bodak Yellow”, so it made perfect sense to add Cardi as the opening act for the 24k Magic tour.

Cardi B released her album, Invasion of Privacy, which fans would have loved to see live, but Cardi B just gave birth to her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, with husband and Migos member, Offset. The recovery time for herself and the needs of the baby have led to the decision for Cardi to cancel the tour appearance. “I hope you guys understand .This have been such a hard decision .I want to thank @brunomars for understanding,” Cardi captioned her post announcing the cancellation on instagram.

Bruno Mars shared a post of his own shortly thereafter.

No word yet on who Bruno Mars will have open up the performances now. But we look forward to the announcement. And we look forward to seeing Cardi B back on the road whenever she is physically, mentally and emotionally ready to get out on the road.
