Migos Rapper Offset in Jail After Cops Found Guns and Drugs in His Vehicle
Just days after he and Cardi B welcomed their daughter, Kulture, into the world, rapper Offset found himself in the back of a cop car, reported WSB Atlanta.
On Friday (July 20, 2018), Offset, born Kiari Cephus, and his bodyguard, Senay Gezahgn, were traveling along Upper Riverdale Road in Jonesboro (Clayton County, GA), when they were pulled over for an improper lane change.
Upon searching the vehicle, the officers discovered three handguns, less than one ounce of marijuana, and more than $100,000 in cash.
The 26-year-old Migos member was then cuffed and taken into custody. He was charged with improper lane change, possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime. Both possession charges are felonies, while the other two charges are misdemeanors.
Gezahgn only faced two of those charges, which were: possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
This morning, Saturday July 21st, bail was set at $17,000.
This isn’t Offset’s first run-in with the law, but we’re hoping that it’ll be his last. Offset is a convicted felon who is on probation.
Prayers up!
