Rick Ross Announces Plans To Release His Memoir, “Hurricanes”

The biggest boss has been taking a bit of a break from music in recent months.  Now we know part of the reason for that is that there is a Rick Ross memoir in the works.  The book is written with Neil Martinez-Belkin with an expected release date of September 3, 2019.  Neil previously helped co-write the Gucci Mane memoir released in 2017.

Rozay announced the book on instagram with a caption that read:

“@richforever A storm is coming… #HURRICANES THE STORY OF MY LIFE!…”

A synopsis of Hurricanes on Amazon says:

Rick Ross is an indomitable presence in the music industry, but few people know his full story. Now, for the first time, Ross offers a vivid, dramatic and unexpectedly candid account of his early childhood, his tumultuous adolescence and his dramatic ascendancy in the world of hip-hop.

From the making of “Hustlin’” to his first major label deal with Def Jam, to the controversy surrounding his past as a correctional officer and the numerous health scares, arrests and feuds he had to transcend along the way, Hurricanes is a revealing portrait of one of the biggest stars in the rap game, and an intimate look at the birth of an artist.

The Rick Ross memoir is available for pre-order on Amazon now for $12.99 on kindle and as a $27.99 hardcover.
