Get Familiar With the Cast of Run the World Series
Run the World is a new comedy series created by Leigh Davenport. The series is set to air its first 30-minute episode on STARZ at 8:30 PM EST on May 16, 2021. Run the World which is produced by Lionsgate Television will be set in Harlem and focus on a group of four strong black women who are best friends. The show is said to follow a similar format to the series Girlfriends and recent series Sistas.
The four main women who make up the cast of the Run the World series will be played by an amazing cast of talented women. Amber Stevens West is starring as Whitney, the perfectionist of the group. Amber Stevens West is also well known for her role as Maxine in the sitcom The Carmichael Show. West has also appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man and 22 jump street.

Ella is the hopeless romantic in the group and is played by model and actress Andrea Bordeaux. Bordeaux is best known for her role as Harley Hidoko on the TV show ‘NCIS: Los Angeles‘.

Bresha Webb is set to star as Reneé the divorced diva. Webb is known best for her role played on the TV one television show “Love That Girl” which aired for four years. She is also popular for her appearances in films such as Meet The Blacks, Acrimony, Night School, A Fall From Grace, and Sextuplets.

Corbin Reid is playing Sondi who is the scholar of the group. Reid is an actress who is best known for her performances on Broadway. Corbin Reid has performed on Broadway in “Sister Act”, “Rent”, and “American Idiot”.
