Tragedy can often bring people together.  The music that comes from tragedy is often the most heartfelt as well, tugging at the heartstrings and revealing emotions you might not general get from artists. After the passing of FBG Duck, Chicago natives TCF Live and Rooga teamed up to pay homage to the fallen soldier, with their single, “New Duck Flow.”

Fly Boys Gang member Carlton “FBG Duck” Weekly was building a buzz before he was murdered last August.  Marco Cruz, more popularly known as TCF Live in Chicago, was hit hard by the senseless act of violence, but he’s using his music and his talent to help keep his friend’s legacy going.  “New Duck Flow” is just the beginning of that.  The visual for the song was also directed by TCF Live, another talent he has under his belt.

TCF also directed the music video for “Dead or Gone” by RJTheVoice featuring FBG Duck. Duck’s mother also appears in the visual.

“New Duck Flow” isn’t TCF’s first major foray into the music industry either. His 2019 single, “Stain” went viral.  He’s also already collaborated with Juice WRLD, Chris Brown and Teyana Taylor, to name a few, in different capacities. His most recent single is titled, “Death Wish.”

Much more lies ahead for the talented artist and it’s only a matter of time before mainstream catches up.
