It’s not even the holidays yet! By now, we expect to see some crazy things on people’s plates over Thanksgiving weekend. Cause its clear, some of ya’ll let whatever slide in ya’ll kitchens. But this latest version of viral mac n cheese comes a few weeks early and with no justification whatsoever.
A couple years ago our editor snapped a picture at a work Thanksgiving potluck, which ended up going viral after it was picked up by other blogs. That macaroni and cheese was stuffed with string beans, peas and carrots. The original post is below:
The latest viral mac n cheese features a familiar ingredient which has been haunting foods in recent years… RAISINS.
The original post was posted by a profile on TikTok by the name of @Texykitchen1 or Chef Texy.
She captioned the video:

From the looks of it, the creator of this viral macaroni and cheese is a Black woman.
We also now know that the person who brought the mac and cheese to that potluck a couple years ago… was also a Black man (can’t be certain he cooked it though).
