Pardi Comes to Girlfriend Megan’s Defense, Twitter Reads Him For Filth

It’s barely 4:00pm and it’s already been a long day of back and forth tweets from Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez and DJ Akademiks. Megan and Tory were due back in court this morning for the alleged shooting incident that took place back in 2020. Turns out it was a mostly uneventful day in the courtroom with the hearing being pushed back to April 5th. Outside the courtroom though, things were just getting started. But things took a hilarious turn when Pardi Fontaine, Megan’s boyfriend of a bit over a year, took to social media to defend Megan. Pardi called out Tory Lanez, seemingly to fight in person, but Tory’s response set off a comedic backlash from Black Twitter.

Before we go on, we do realize that this case has serious implications for both these artists. For Tory, he’s facing serious jail time. For Megan Thee Stallion, it’s obvious that reliving this situation is impacting her mentally and professionally. We reserve the right to pass judgement and deliver analysis after the evidence is actually laid out in court. While this is serious on many elements, some of this is WWF at best.

Frankly, I’m surprised the judge hasn’t ordered both parties not to speak about the case or respond to anything on the internet regarding the case. This is the most publicly drawn out legal situation I think we’ve ever seen in entertainment. And because it’s dragged on for almost 2 full years now, it feels like we know less today than ever.
