Jennifer Hudson’s engagement ring is up for sale. Jennifer Hudson was engaged to former WWE wrestler and I Love New York reality star, David Otunga aka “Punk” for some time before terminating their relationship.
According to Hollywood Unlocked, “[they] began dating in 2007. The couple was engaged for 10 years before calling it quits in 2017. Hudson returned the ring after they decided to end their relationship. Although they ended things, in November 2017, the 40-year-old actress filed for a restraining order against Otunga, with whom she shares 12-year-old son David Jr. She claimed at the time he had exhibited “aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior” toward her, something that he denied. However, in 2019, the two reached a custody agreement after trial.
Since Otunga has his engagement ring back, which apparently is required in most states if the marriage doesn’t go through, he has decided to auction off the ring. TMZ reported that “David has now teamed up with IDoNowIDont.com to unload it. We’re told David plans to give a portion of the proceeds to [his] fathers’ rights org, [Moses Otunga Foundation Organization].”

Although Jennifer Hudson’s engagement ring is for sale, she’s not letting it stop her coin. As we previously reported, Hudson is preparing for her daytime talk show debut, which is scheduled to premiere September 2022.
