The Grammy Awards are the event of the year to recognize impressive achievements in the music industry. Artists come together to listen to performances and learn who is awarded the coveted top spot in many categories of musical creativity and accomplishment.

This event isn’t just about the music itself. Clothing is another big form of artistic expression and a chance for big-name celebrities to take risks to show off their personalities through stunning outfits. It’s also a fantastic way for brands to show off their skills as they dress some of the biggest names in the industry. This year, many stars appeared on the red carpet wearing long-time favorite designer Dolce & Gabbana. Check out some of the stand-out looks of this year’s Grammy ceremony and after party.

Dolce & Gabbana Be-Decked Performers

One of the night’s most memorable outfits was Jon Batiste’s custom suit he wore while performing his hit song “Freedom.” A host of 20 people flew in from Italy and set up a temporary workshop at the event to complete Batiste’s look.

His suit consisted of slim-cut trousers and a double-breasted jacket. However, the focal point of the outfit was the impressive 15-foot train cape. Even his backup dancers and band were outfitted by Dolce & Gabbana. The effort put into the costume design created a cohesive theme to complete the music and enhance the stage performance. The result was gorgeous to behold.

It takes a lot of time and effort to pull off a look like Batistes. He began collaborating with Dolce & Gabbana weeks before the Grammys to discuss designs and make sure his personality and vision were being captured by the popular high-end brand.

The Red Carpet’s Arresting Looks

Carrie Underwood turned heads in her fabulous Dolce & Gabbana ballgown. The eye-catching dress had a voluminous gold ombre skirt that shimmered, finished with a sparkling crystal-embellished bodice.

My all-time favorite outfit. She literally is a walking Grammy. The color, the dress type, the sparkly top. 10/10. This beautiful Dolce and Gabbana dress!! I love how she paired it with simple dangly earings so it doesn’t draw attention away from the dress! pic.twitter.com/uppmM3sg4a

DJ D-Nice and Kali Uchis also made an impression in their Dolce & Gabbana ensembles. The former wore a shining metallic blue suit while the latter appeared in a flowing, plunging dress with a cinched corset waist.

High-Fashion After Parties

The red carpet and event themselves may be in the public eye the most, but the fun and fashion don’t stop there. The Grammys, like most awards shows, are famous for the elaborate after parties that issue coveted invites.

After the event is over and the awards are handed out, some of the most talented people in the industry get together to enjoy a low-key party where they can relax and unwind. Music, drinks, and dancing provide the perfect send-off to wrap up another ceremony.

Just because the Grammys have officially wrapped up for another year, doesn’t mean that the attendees lower their standards with their choice of attire. Dolce & Gabbana again made an appearance, this time on Tiffany Haddish.

She wore a custom orange dress with black detailing and accents that made sure she stood out from the crowd. This and other fun looks are traditional of the Grammys. While attendees generally stick with more conservative choices at other awards shows, the Grammys are a chance to be fearless and enjoy greater freedom.

Looking forward to the beautiful dresses and jaw-dropping fashion choices of your favorite celebrities is part of the fun of awards season. This year’s Grammys certainly did not disappoint! The event was packed full of daring choices and dazzling gowns that are sure to make a lasting impression and influence future fashion trends.
