Lil Durk is still on fire. The voice of the trenches is paying tribute to Virgil Abloh with his new visual “What Happened to Virgil.”
“What Happened to Virgil” came out March 11, 2022 on the album 7220 by Lil Durk. The song features ATL’s own Gunna. The two have collaborated before on “Gucci Gucci” and “Off White VLONE.”
In the video, Lil Durk and Gunna are so fly that you can find them on a runway sporting nice fashion. You’ll also see quotes and clothing inspired by the late Virgil Abloh.
Virgil Abloh was an Illinois native who founded Italian-based fashion house Off White. He accomplished becoming artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear collection in 2018. In 2021 he passed because of cancer.
The visual is directed by Cole Bennett. He directed “Kanye Krazy” and “3 Headed Goat” in the past for Lil Durk.
