Garcelle Beauvais has been in various TV shows and films including The Jamie Foxx Show, NYPD Blue, Coming 2 America, Models Inc., and The Real. She joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2019 being the first Black woman in the RHOBH franchise. Garcelle Beauvais’ book, Love Me As I Am, is a testament to her resilience, hard work, and beauty from the inside out.

In her book, Beauvais talks about how being on RHOBH was a calculated risk. She wanted control over her own narrative and learned a lot about how honesty can be used as a weapon on the show. She even spoke about the drama with co-star Erika Jayne, who she initially respected.

Unfortunately, the feud between the two continues because Jayne posted a video of her putting Garcelle Beauvais’ book in the garbage.

Beauvais also gets REALLY personal about her family life. She talks about both her marriages that ended in divorce and being a mother, especially to her eldest son, Olivier who struggles with addiction.

She even revealed she almost died while going through in vitro fertilization treatments before she had kids. While Garcelle Beauvais’ book covers heavy topics and situations, there are also some fun tidbits like when she turned down a tropical getaway with Michael Jordan.
