Despite DeVon Franklin’s divorce, he’s joining Married At First Sight as an expert. According to Essence, DeVon Franklin and Dr. Pia Holec, a celebrated black psychotherapist specializing in sex and couples’ therapy, will provide guidance to the couples for Season 15.

The original Married At First Sight relationship advisors were Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Viviana Coles. However, since Dr. Viviana Coles has left, DeVon Franklin and Dr. Pia Holec joined the team.

Fans were surprised by Essence’s announcement since Meagan Good and Devon Franklin’s divorce was recently finalized. Black Twitter had a field day when Meagan Good and Devon Franklin’s divorce was first announced.

The celebrity couple was married for nine years after a period of celibacy. Devon Franklin filed for divorce on Monday, December 20, 2021 in a Los Angeles, California courthouse. Thankfully, their divorce appears to be amicable.
