Beyoncé Act 1, Renaissance album is on the way! There was so much speculation around Beyonce’s return last month when she deleted her social media accounts. Turns out fans were right in their assumptions – Beyoncé’s Act 1, Renaissance album is coming next month. The Queen is back with a full rollout, including Renaissance box sets.
British Vogue writer, Edward Enninful, did a story, where they discussed the direction of the Vogue photoshoot and her new music. Beyoncé had Enninful over at her Los Angeles home for Sunday dinner. During the dinner, Beyonce asked if Enninful wanted to hear her new music. This was their reaction:
She then asked me if I wanted to hear her new music. As someone who first saw her perform live with Destiny’s Child 23 years ago, a moment’s walk from my family home when the group played at the Notting Hill Carnival in 1999, I can feel the tingling excitement build as we make our way to her home recording studio. With minimal ceremony, she takes her laptop and plugs it in as we all sit on some sofas. Quietly, the superstar hits play on her upcoming album.
Instantly, a wall of sound hits me. Soaring vocals and fierce beats combine and in a split second I’m transported back to the clubs of my youth. I want to get up and start throwing moves. It’s music I love to my core. Music that makes you rise, that turns your mind to cultures and subcultures, to our people past and present, music that will unite so many on the dance floor, music that touches your soul. As ever with Beyoncé, it is all about the intent. I sit back, after the wave, absorbing it all.
The creation has been a long process, she explains, with the pandemic giving her far longer to spend thinking and rethinking every decision. Just the way she likes it.
Beyoncé told Harper’s Bazaar that new music was in the works last year after she released Black is King, where she mentioned she felt a ‘renaissance coming’. Little did we know it was a teaser of Beyoncé’s Act 1, Renaissance album. She will make her official comeback on July 29th. Pre-save here.
Apparently, she also had Renaissance box sets for fans to buy. Some fans purchased without knowing the contents of Renaissance box sets since it’s part of her album rollout. After doing some digging, the Renaissance box sets contain t-shirts, a collectible box and mini-poster. The t-shirts will have a special graphic which has yet to be revealed.
You can pre-order Beyoncé’s new album, along with a T-Shirt, Collectable Box and Mini Poster – from her upcoming album #RENAISSANCE coming July 29th.
The gift set, which contributes towards first week sales, retails at £34.

I love that Beyoncé remade the music industry with the unannounced digital drop and now she’s remaking it again by showing the girls what it means to do promo and have a legitimate roll out. An icon. A legend. She is the moment.

Beyoncé made the “surprise” album drop the sensational marketing strategy that it was. It’s only fitting for her to be the one to bring back the proper roll-out. We’re going to be speculating for the next month. ?

Lol y’all, the Beyoncé British Vogue article is just a snippet. The entire cover story drops next Tuesday when the issue hits newsstands. Just some good old fashion editorial strategy at work. Welcome to the masterclass of press and rollouts.

After this era, we can definitely kiss Beyoncé goodbye. She about to let us have it, and then go sit in Oprah’s backyard and pick vegetables with the kids.
