Parle Mag: What are some things couples can do to get their sexy back this summer?

Goody Howard: I always suggest that couples switch up the time and place they have sex. So often we fall into the routine of sex at night and sex in the bedroom. You pay to live in your entire home, so you should be able to have sex anywhere you want! Try doggie style over the counter in the kitchen. Maybe a little shower sex. Some head in the living room! Use your imagination. Also, daytime sex is amazing! Being able to see your partner’s face while you’re getting it in adds layers to the pleasure.

Parle Mag: What are some things single people can do to get their sexy back this summer?

Goody Howard: Sexy means different things to different people. When I think of sexy, I think of [words like] confident, powerful, attractive, etc. Self-pleasure is a great way to improve confidence because it’s having sex with the person you love most. Switching up your clothing and cologne and going new places can also boost your energy. If you’re really feeling adventurous, join a new dating app and step outside your comfort zone with the kind of people you [wouldn’t] normally match with [online].

Parle Mag: How can people who are celibate, abstinent, or a virgin embrace their sexy?

Goody Howard: This is a great question because abstinence and celibacy look different for different people. If you’re abstaining from any sexual pleasure, including the pleasure you provide yourself, you can still connect to feeling sexy, attractive and desirable. Sensuality is experiencing nonsexual pleasure through all six of the senses. So, connect to the ways that your senses are delighted on a daily basis. It will give you a joy and a confidence that others can see from across the room! This tip is actually great for people, whether they’re fu*k!ng or not. Something as simple as a delicious meal, a hug from a friend, or a beautiful day with someone special touching your shoulders can bring you nonsexual pleasure and improve your mood immediately.

Parle Mag: Are there any new sex toys to try out whether you’re single or in a relationship?

Goody Howard: Sex toys are for everybody! I love a good remote-controlled sex toy. It’s great when you use it with a partner because they control the pleasure. When you use it solo, it’s good because you get the discretion of being able to wear it in public. There are remote-controlled c0ck rings and remote-controlled panties. So, don’t think these toys are just for the ladies.

Parle Mag: What do you think is the secret to feeling sexy?

Goody Howard: In my opinion, the secret to feeling sexy is feeling confident! Most people root their confidence in what they look like, but that will fade fast. My confidence is rooted in the fact that I am intelligent, stylish, and funny. AND you can take me anywhere! So, connect your confidence to the things that make you who you are other than what you look like [physically]. You won’t even walk the same!

Parle Mag: What do you think should be on everyone’s sexy summer bucket list this year?

Goody Howard: Wear the shorts! The hoochie daddy shorts are all over social media and I think they are amazing! The same goes for femmes. Wear clothes that will make you feel like the most attractive person in the room. Wear clothes that make you feel amazing. Don’t worry about what other people think about the outfit you chose. If you feel fly, rock it! I also think everyone should have a facial routine. Regardless of your gender identity, you need to take care of your skin. that glow hits different in the summertime!!

Parle Mag: What are some red flags people should be mindful of before getting freaky and nasty?

Goody Howard: If they say they don’t masturbate, that means they don’t know pleasure for themselves and probably won’t know how to pleasure you. If they say they don’t perform oral sex, this speaks to their immaturity ad let’s you know the sex probably won’t be good. If they are a bad kisser or a bad dancer, they are probably a bad lover. It’s not always true, but it’s almost always true. If they have dirty fingernails or bad hygiene, do not let them near your genitals!
