Da Brat and Big Booty Judy, professionally known as Jessica Dupart, introduced the world to their love in August of 2021 with the reality tv series ‘Brat Loves Judy’. On Thursday June 09, 2022, WeTV is coming back with the second season. Brat Loves Judy Season 2 looks to update us on the plans made to get them down the aisle, plans on having a baby, the finishing product of their renovated home in Atlanta, and an inside look of Da Brat working on new music as an independent artist!

Da Brat and Big Booty Judy are a lesbian couple who met in 2017 and began dating in 2019 but kept their relationship a secret. Neither of the ladies came out as openly gay until just before the first season of their reality tv series, ‘Brat Loves Judy’, that first aired in 2021. The show followed the couple through their everyday lives as Da Brat worked on acting gigs and new music and Big Booty Judy continued working on the expansion of her Kaleidoscope hair care brand.

During the first season, the couple got engaged and allowed us to attend their “Coming to America” themed Engagement/Birthday party. There we got to see Da Brat and her older sister, LisaRaye McCoy, make up after not speaking to one another about her relationship with Judy. Big Booty Judy deemed it appropriate to combine a birthday celebration with her proposal to Da Brat, with a promise to tie the knot on 02.22.2022 (which Da Brat has tattooed on her back). Judy also brought us into the struggle of moving herself and her business from New Orleans to Atlanta for her relationship with Da Brat. Each episode was filled with arguments, crazy schedules, lovey-dovey time, serious conversations and even trips to the mailbox!

If you are not familiar with this lovely couple here is a little background on each individually. Da Brat, or Shawntae Harris, was born on April 14, 1974, in Chicago IL and is a female rapper. She began her career in 1992 when she signed with So So Def records and Jermaine Dupri. Her debut album Funkdafied, was released in 1994 and sold one million copies, making her the first female solo rap act to receive a platinum certification, and the second overall female rap act after Salt-N-Pepa.

Jessica Dupart was born on February 12, 1982 and is the founder and CEO of Kaleidoscope Hair Products. She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and founded Kaleidoscope in 2013. In 2018, Kaleidoscope sales went from $100,000 a month at the beginning of the year, to $1 million by the end of March. In 2019, Judy was awarded the Key to the City of New Orleans by the mayor, LaToya Cantrell, to recognize the philanthropy and business she has added to the area.

Together these two are the definition of a power couple, and they are so cute! This reality tv series displays two strong, intelligent, legendary Black women doing the damn thing, and together as a couple. The love they have for each other is undeniable, and they make you feel like saying “relationship goals”. Tune on Thursday June 09 on WeTV and the next day on ALLBLK to see just how much Brat loves Judy!
