[FIRST LOOK] Jacob Latimore & Tosin Cole Star In ‘House Party’ Reboot, Produced by LeBron James
The LeBron James produced House Party reboot is set to premiere in January. It’s so real that now we have a trailer! The reboot stars Jacob Latimore, the singer and actor who has starred in “The Chi” for the last 4 seasons; alongside Tosin Cole, who appeared on the “Doctor Who” series and will also appear in the upcoming Till movie as Medgar Evers. The pair will take their turn at the cult classic which was introduced by the iconic duo Kid n’ Play in the early 90s.
The House Party reboot movie is directed by Charles Kidd II known professionally as Calmatic. Calmatic will also be behind the camera for the upcoming White Men Can’t Jump reboot, which stars Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow.
The film is produced by LeBron James, but unlike his Space Jam reboot, he won’t be the star. However, the film is set in his fictional home. There, Jacob and Tosin’s characters are hired to clean the star’s home, but instead they throw a massive party.
The film includes cameos from the aforementioned Christopher “Kid” Reid and Christopher “Play” Martin, along with appearances from Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg and more.
