Wendell and Wild movie synopsis
From the delightfully wicked minds of Henry Selick and producer Jordan Peele, comes Wendell & Wild, an animated tale about scheming demon brothers Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and Wild (Peele) – who enlist the aid of Kat Elliot – a tough teen with a load of guilt – to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comedic adventure like no other, an animated fantasy that defies the law of life and death, all told through the handmade artistry of stop motion.
This Netflix animation is adapted from Peele’s screenplay based on an unpublished book by Clay McLeod and Henry Selick. Jordan Peele took to Twitter and posted the latest trailer with a devil emoji! Words weren’t necessary because the new trailer speaks for itself. This film is going to be a masterpiece.

For long-time Key and Peele fans, you already have an idea of what to expect from the mind that created movies like Get Out (2018) and Nope (2022) you have an idea of what to expect from these great minds.
If 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverserse of Madness showed us anything, it’s that everyone is craving something edgier and darker. And that’s what Wendell and Wild, with a run time of 1h 45 minutes, aims to deliver according to that trailer.
Another Halloween family film you can look forward to in 2022 is The Curse of Bridge Hollow!
Netflix’s Wendell & Wild movie premieres in select theatres on October 21 and premieres on Netflix on October 28.
