Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena wed several years back, had some children together, and it genuinely appeared the pair were super-duper in love. Fast forward to present day, however, and the world now knows that the reality TV stars do not like each other at all — perhaps, even hate one another.
“I’ve had some faults in my marriage, but at the same time, I also swept so much under the rug. And, I think that’s why I got taken advantage of,” said Erica Mena recently on the Love & Hip Hop Reunion about her marriage to Safaree Samuels. She went on, “I was in the hospital bed with this man’s son—that man (Safaree) didn’t care if I made it through that pregnancy. That man didn’t care if I made it through that labor. I really have fought through some dark times. Like, literally, I couldn’t get out of bed guys. There were days that I could not eat.”
As Erica Mena dragged Safaree through the mud, he nonchalantly sat in his seat and in time replied, “I don’t even know where to start.” After telling one cast member on stage to “shut the f**k up,” Safaree let off his chest, “Who wants to get married, have kids, and end up here? I wouldn’t of thought two years later this is where it would have been.”

Including Nicki Minaj, this is Safaree‘s second relationship with a celebrity that ended in a messy public breakup. When asked how the divorce has effected him, Erica Mena swiftly hopped in the convo: “It hasn’t…he’s been having fun. He’s been living his best damn life. Good for him though!”
