This past weekend was the taping for the 2022 Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas. R&B Supergroup, Xscape was awarded the Lady of Soul Award, a well deserved honor, a long time coming. While the night was an incredible moment for the group, the talk of the last couple of days is the uncoordinated Xscape red carpet look. Kandi Burress, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and Tamika Scott were coordinated in a matching metallic silver look, while LaTocha Scott stuck out like a sore thumb, with a beautiful olive colored dress. Latocha Scott addressed the Xscape red carpet look on social media, explaining that she just didn’t get the memo.

There are some concerning details here.  Unfortunately this moment will definitely leave a bit of a sour spot on the night for these ladies.  But it should be noted that Latocha Scott and Tamika Scott are real sisters, so there’s no reason Latocha should not have gotten the memo.  However, looks like Latocha has been on the outside of the inner circle for a bit, as the other 3 ladies are touring as Xscape without her.  Previously, Latocha, Tamika and Tiny released an EP as Xscape without Kandi.  More recently on November 6th all the ladies were present for Xscape day in their hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.

Nonetheless, the uncoordinated Xscape red carpet look is where we find ourselves now.

She also took a shot at them resharing a pic of them calling themselves ‘The Supremes’ recently.

While no other group member has addressed the red carpet look directly, Tiny did share a message of her own on social media.
