MAFS Boston’s Katina & Olajuwon call it quits after a year of marriage.
Married at First Sight Boston season 14’s fan favorite couple, Katina Goode and Olajuwon Dickerson have jointly announced they will be going their separate ways and ending their marriage.
The post had no caption but a black background with the words: “After one year of marriage and careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways. However, this was not an easy decision to make. We leave our marriage with enormous love and respect for each other. We only ask that, at this time, our privacy is respected”, written in white.

The couple was initially matched by the Married at First Sight experts during season 14, which took place in Boston and aired earlier this year. Despite smooth sailing during the beginning of the experiment, things turned frosty after Olajuwon called Katina unprepared to be an adult, lazy and said he needed a spouse to cook for him daily.
The pair were eventually able to work things out and both said “yes” on Decision Day.
“I live by one thing: work hard today, focus on tomorrow and the rest is history. You embody that,” Dickerson told his then-wife during the season reunion, which aired in May of this year. “You taught me patience and effort is the key to a happy life and a happy marriage. Katina, I couldn’t be any happier to call you my wife, and I mean that.”
Olajuwon also took the time to propose to Katina with a beautiful ring. He added, “I would hope you accept this, now you know your husband, and you’re confident to continue this journey with me.”
Katina broke down in tears before happily accepting, in which she said “I love you” for the first time.
Just 8 weeks prior to this announcement via Instagram, the couple posted a happy joint post in which Olajuwon captioned: People search their whole lives for this love you give me. I truly appreciate God’s daily blessing which he allows you to give me everyday!💙 Dreams to Reality💙
