Cardi B disclosed recently that she took home a bag worth seven-figures for a single live show— which lasted approximately 2,100 seconds. The “Bodak Yellow” spitter, seen carousing in Miami at Art Basel over the weekend, shared some receipts via social media of her speedy million-dollar come up. Cardi B paid million for 30 minutes.
The Bronx native took to Twitter: “I got payed 1 million dollars to perform at this elite bankers event private event for 400 people and only for 35 minutes. THINK ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU TYPE ABOUT THIS GRAMMY WINNER.” Cardi may be clapping back at disparagers that recently gave her flak online for delaying her highly anticipated sophomore album.
Earlier, Cardi fired a shot at one social media user that advocated she was hesitant to release her second album due to potentially garnering below average sales. “I’m never afraid of numbers honey,” Cardi tweeted. “And I don’t gotta put an another album if I want to I EATS GOOD OF MY diamond records alone [wink emoji]. Don’t drag other bi**hes to make your point drag the man that’s running their mouth…Grown man!”
Too add insult to injury, Cardi expounded those affections by sharing Touring Data‘s tweet reporting that her tour 3 years ago was the first by a female hip-hop artist to roughly gross over $1 million per performance. Cardi cited: “Mind you it was only 7 shows. Let’s not talk about numbers.”
