The Pusha T and Jim Jones beef is boiling over onto the fire — and the Dipset capo is with all of the smoke.
While visiting The Breakfast Club recently, Jones intensified his criticism of Pusha and questioned his influence on culture.
The Harlem native asked if anyone in the room, including DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God, could rhyme along to five songs by The Clipse artist.
“Could you name five Pusha T records? Could you name five Pusha T records?” Jones incitingly queried. “No. Could you rap to five Pusha T records?”
Charlamagne started to list out tracks like “If You Know You Know” and “Nosetalgia” when Jones shockingly interrupted him and said, “I didn’t know he had fans like that.”

Jim Jones asked the same question about Jay-Z and Drake after two other men, including DJ Envy, responded neutrally. He made it clear that he wasn’t disparaging Pusha T’s rap prowess, but the lack of cultural effect prevented him from making it onto his top 50 list.
“Could you rap five Jay verses if they came on? Could you rap five Drake verses if they came on? You lying because you work at radio. I’m just gonna say that because n*ggas gonna say Jim went way wildin.’”
Jim Jones says Pusha T isn’t a top-50 rapper and Big Sean deserves the spot. Agree or disagree? 🤔

Jim Jones extended his critical review, “Shoutout to Pusha T, I love your soul.
“You my dawg. You not in my top 50. You might be in Charlamagne’s top 50 and things like that, but you haven’t done that much for me in my life. I never wanted to be like Pusha, I never had a Pusha moment in my life. Where I’m from, n*ggas wanted to be like you if you was really that dude as a rapper.”
