Questlove will publish his debut children’s book, THE RHYTHM OF TIME!
Academy Award winner and New York Times bestselling author Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson’s kids’ novel, THE RHYTHM OF TIME, is scheduled to release on Tuesday, April 18, with G.P. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers.
Co-authored by illustrious writer S. A. Cosby and aimed at readers ages 8-12, this gripping and exhilarating series opener, set in Questlove’s hometown of Philadelphia, follows Kasia and Rahim, two slightly-nerdy Black teens, as they travel back through time, inadvertently rewriting the future.

Stacey Barney, Associate Publisher at Penguin Young Readers acquired world rights in a three-book deal with Marc Gerald at Europa Content and Alexis Rosenzweig representing Questlove, and Josh Getzler at Hannigan Getzler Literary representing S.A. Cosby.
