Nicole Kidman will also star in the newest Paramount+ project, which is directed by Taylor Sheridan of Yellowstone and centers on the Lioness Engagement Team’s efforts to destroy a terrorist organization.

The first images feature the two actors in action as well as Laysla De Oliveira as Cruz Manuelos, a young marine, in challenging surroundings.

Saldana plays Joe, the Lioness program station chief who oversaw the current generation of spies while she was still an undercover agent.

The actress stated to Vanity Fair about the characters: “They each represent a different sort of generation in this program.

“One is just starting, so there’s this freshness and passion. Then you have me [as Joe], who’s in the middle of it all. [Joe’s] been here long enough to be burned out but long enough to understand the mission and be resolved with what needs to happen.”

Kaitlyn Meade, “the CIA’s Senior Supervisor who has had a long career of playing the politics game,” will be played by Kidman.

“She’s had a long career in terms of playing politics, but also she’s been in the field. She’s actually running the Lioness program. But she also knows how to be a soldier,” said Kidman about the role.

Along with Jill Wagner from Teen Wolf and Dave Annable from This Is Us, the cast also features Jonah Wharton, Stephanie Nur, and LaMonica Garrett.
