Samuel L Jackson’s Secret Invasion is one we don’t want to miss! If you didn’t know, the legendary actor has his own Marvel series coming.
Secret Invasion follows super-spy Nick Fury ( Samuel L. Jackson) as he unearths a plot to covertly appoint double agents into positions of authority all around the world.
In a conventional espionage tale, these agents would be from adversarial opposing states, but in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the infiltration comes from shape-shifting, green-skinned aliens dubbed Skrulls, who can flawlessly impersonate any human. Identifying who’s who becomes very challenging.
Jackson provided Vanity Fair with some insider information on the new Marvel series. “We don’t know who’s a friend, who’s the enemy. There’s a political aspect that kind of fits into where we are right now. Who’s okay, who’s not? What happens when people get afraid and don’t understand other people? You can’t tell who’s innocent and who’s guilty in this particular instance,” said the Shaft trouper.
The question is – who all are starring in the series?

As mentioned, Jackson is the star of the show, with the character Nick Fury finally receiving his series after appearing in so many prior Marvel productions and helping to create The Avengers.
Don Cheadle plays James “Rhodey” Rhodes, the president’s right-hand man in this tale rather than War Machine. This will probably serve as some sort of prelude to Cheadle’s impending Armor Wars project. But, could Rhodey be a Skrull given his connection to the president? Something to ponder on.
Ben Mendelsohn is reprising his role as Talos in Captain Marvel and is Nick Fury’s companion as they work to expose evil Skrull double agents who are operating all around the world under the guise of humans and perhaps even superheroes.
Emilia Clarke – She is portraying G’iah, a figure we have already met, though as a young child in Captain Marvel. In Captain Marvel, Talos’ wife and daughter were previously depicted, but G’iah is Talos’ adult daughter. She has a “punk feeling,” according to Clarke, who calls her a “refugee youngster.”
Olivia Colman – She appears to be a villain in this one, which is odd because the roles she typically plays do not involve villains. She is an MI6 agent in charge of safeguarding the nation, and Jackson says she [is] “someone you’ve never seen her play before” and deemed her “coldblooded.”
