2023 BET Awards did not come to disappoint us this year!

There were many performances by legends who came to the stage to celebrate the 50 years of Hip Hop. Including Trina, Busta Rhymes & Trick Daddy.

Crowd went crazy for @TRINArockstarr!! #MIYAYO#TheCrib pic.twitter.com/QWBagczmHq

But before the artists hit the stage they first went to the red carpet and can I say everyone looked OUTSTANDING.

There was even a little debate at who was best dressed, of course the people chose Summer Walker to take the position.

But from all of artists and actors everyone looked fantastic.

It is still rumored that Tyler Perry has taken over the BET Media Group due to artists finally being able to bring the “black” back into BET.

The performances were beyond amazing from the artists such as Offset & Quavo making a tribute to the late Takeoff. It was also there first time being on stage together since his passing.

Bet also gave tribute to Tina Turner but it seems as though Pattie didn’t know all of the words to the great legend song even with the prompter giving her the lyrics.

Pattie LaBelle apologized to the crowd and said that she was trying to read it but couldn’t make out what it said. Of course social media has their remarks due to the tribute.

Pattie wasn’t the only one causing drama at the show, it seemed as though JT and Lil Uzi had a few words during a slight altercation where allegedly JT threw her phone at Lil Uzi.

Many people speculated that it was due to Lil Uzi speaking to Ice Spice but JT spoke out and said it was due to her losing her seat during the award.

Whatever it was, we hope it all got worked out because it seems as though Summer Walker and Lil Meech were able to work out their issues.

They were caught on the red carpet embracing each other, as they stood and answered questions.

The award show was incredible and if you missed it, I would think you missed one of the best award shows so far.

Coi Leray insisted on acknowledging the women of rap by wearing a sweat suit with different female rappers names on it.

The back of Coi’s outfit at the #BETAwards included Gangsta Boo, Cardi, Megan Thee Stallion, Bia, Dej Loaf, Remy Ma, Trina, Khia,
Shawnna, Flo Milli, Maya The Don, Lola Brooke, and Glorilla.pic.twitter.com/d2QtNTZ2IE

We can’t forget about Teyana Taylor receiving her reward for Best Video Director, which she certainly earned.

So many artists created a way to celebrate each other last night, it was a beautiful show that uplifted the spirits of many. With a special moment in acknowledging the late Jacky Oh, the partner of DC YoungFly.
