[FIRST LOOK] Peacock’s ‘Shooting Stars’ Is Based On The Origin Story Of LeBron James

The new Peacock movie Shooting Stars, takes on the origin story of LeBron James. The Shooting Stars movie premiered on the streaming service on June 2nd.  

The movie is based on the book by LeBron James and Pulitzer Prize winning author of Friday Night Lights. The book shares the story of LeBron James and how his high school became #1 in the country.

LeBron James and his three best friends who called themselves the “Fab Four,” were the reason why their high school was placed as #1 in the country. The story goes on to share the diligence that James had to become four-time NBA Champion and so many more accomplishments.

It shares the origin story of LeBron James and how he became who he is today. We all know him as “King James” but how he became the King requires us to understand how he started.

It is a powerful story that states, “It isn’t about how you start the game but it’s how you finish it.“

The film will premiere June 2, 2023 on Peacock.
