The upcoming release of the rapper from Atlanta’s next album has been the subject of an important reveal. In his latest album which he’s titled “Rocket Power,”
Migos has been through some rough times for a while now. Whether it be rumors that they broke up or their own personal disagreements or their refusal to perform together. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that all of it is in the past now.
Well, Quavo is reminiscing on his time with Migos.
It would appear that Quavo is still processing his grief at the departure of former Migos bandmate, Takeoff by channeling those emotions into his musical production.
The rapper posted a short promotional piece of a track from the new album, “Rocket Power” on his IG. One of the lines in the song’s lyrics went as follows:
“My cousin jumped out of the car, and I had to keep going; now he’s telling the whole world that we ain’t blood.”
On this post, he captioned: “This Album Is Embodying All My Emotions. Through the process of healing I’ve learned to turn tragedy into triumph.”
The rapper has been quite upfront and vocal about his emotions by writing an open farewell letter to Take last year. Now, he further explains how the whole experience has led him to find more reasons to keep living. He says, “I had to dig deep into my purpose and find the power to keep striving.”
Additionally, he dropped an appreciation note for his supporters. He expressed, “To my fans, thanks for being patient wit me and supporting Us. To my FAMILY, even when times get hard we know our MAIN mission is to keep the Rocket name ALIVE”
