Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson reprise their 1990s roles as Dexter Reed and Ed in the Good Burger 2 trailer, which Paramount+ just dropped. The movie will be released this fall.
The teaser sets off with Ed striking Dexter while the latter is driving and somehow manages to land perfectly in the passenger seat. “Hey, man, you almost car-burgered me to death,” he screeched. Putting a positive spin on the accident, Ed claims, “The new adventures of Ed and Dex start now!”
Produced by Nickelodeon Studios, Good Burger 2 is the follow-up to the legendary 1997 flick based on the “All That” (1994) comical sketch.
In Seasons 1 through 5, it centered on the fast-food joint Good Burger and its airheaded cashier, Ed. When Mitchell appeared in 2019 as a guest star in the “All That” resurgence, he returned to his role as Ed, who had spent 20 years managing the trainees at Good Burger.
With an uproarious new staff, Good Burger 2 now follows Dexter and Ed as they join forces in the present day at the fast-food establishment Good Burger.
