Lizzo being sued for allegedly sexually harassing three former dancers and fostering a hostile work environment in a complaint that was filed on Tuesday, August 1.

One dancer, in particular, asserted that the singer made a point of noticing her weight gain and fired her after she filmed a meeting due to a health concern.

NBC stated that Lizzo was accused of forcing her team members to converse with a nude performer at a nightclub in Amsterdam.

Shirlene Quigley, the leader of the dance squad for the musician, was also named as a litigant in the lawsuit. It charged her with speaking out against those who engage in premarital sex, among other deviant sexual fantasies.

The “About Damn Time” songstress allegedly knew about these accusations but chose not to respond to them, according to the plaintiffs.

Ron Zambrano, the attorney for the accusers, said the following in a statement: “The stunning nature of how Lizzo and her management team treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly, while privately she weight-shames her dancers and demeans them in ways that are not only illegal but absolutely demoralizing.”

Sexual harassment, racial and religious harassment, a hostile work environment, false detention, and interference with potential economic advantage were among the claims made in the case.

In the lawsuit, Melissa Viviane Jefferson (better known by her stage name Lizzo), Quigley, and the musician’s production handle Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc. are named as defendants.

Two of the plaintiffs, Crystal Williams and Arianna Davis, purportedly became a part of the artist’s group after appearing on her Amazon reality show, “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.” Noelle Rodriguez, the third plaintiff, filed a lawsuit following a performance in the music video “Rumors.” Rodriguez quit earlier this year, while Williams and Davis were later fired.
