Quavo released his new Rocket Power album in honor of Takeoff. The album includes a few notable features from Future, Young Thug and more.
Takeoff, who was apart of the Migos died last year due to a fight that escalated in Atlanta. Quavo first stepped back into the music game during the BET Awards when him and Offset joined in to give a tribute to Takeoff.
After their performance, we still never heard much from Quavo concerning the death of his loved one. But it seems as though he was cooking up something extremely special.
His new album Rocket Power dropped last night at midnight (August 18).
This is Quavo’s second solo project but is the first since Takeoff’s brutal and shocking murder. The album is a tribute to Takeoff and an official new beginning for Quavo.
On the album, he has two songs that feature Takeoff, which are Patty Cake & Back Where it Begins which also features Future.
The album is the start of something fresh for Quavo has he starts his adventure in being a solo artist.

Many people loved the fact that Quavo is venturing off by himself but also sad about the passing of Takeoff that resulted in the spilt of the Migos.
It may be the healing music we needed because we all lost a legend, with that we say Rest in Power Takeoff.
